Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way 🎵... Ahhh, how nice it is to get into the festive mood! I'm sure many of you have snow already (jealous!! 😍) and are enjoying snowmen and snowball fights.
Hopefully you've been around Life is a Box of Mochi for a while and you've come to know me a little. If you're new, though, I'll tell you that I like tea. A lot. Hot, cold, it doesn't matter, I like to drink tea.
We're now deep in Autumn: the leaves changing colour, the weather getting colder... What better way to enjoy this season than with some scrumptious snacks from Zenpop?
Happy Halloween! Well, haha, almost. Soon it will be All Hallow's Eve so, to get everyone in the mood for the spookiest day of the year, Zenpop *sponsored* this blog post and sent me a free Japanese Ramen + Sweets Mix Pack to review.
Today, I would like to introduce you all to someone very special... If you've been following my blog, you know I'm very passionate about Japanese culture, and you also know that I am fascinated by historical Japan, and Samurai.
Japan offers plenty of activities for people to take part in whether in group or alone and, since I became passionate about Japanese culture, my list of things I'd like to do once I'm there has been growing a lot, to the point that I decided to share some of the items in my list with you.
I've always been very fond of books, despite life's ups and downs, and since I took an interest in all things Japan, I've been trying to find books which talk about various aspects of Japanese culture.
I'm already familiar with subscription boxes, I bought a couple back when I was a book blogger, and even tried an anime one. I've tried a Japanese snack box as well, which was absolutely fantastic, but I wanted to try new stuff.
When you think of Shizuoka, perhaps the first thing that comes to mind is the vast stretch of tea fields, or the majestic Mt. Fuji. However, there is so much more that you can explore in this Japanese prefecture.
I've been wanting to visit Japan for quite some time—I actually would like to move there, but it's a whole different story—and it's true there's so much to see and do that I would find a bit hard to decide where to begin from.
I've been interested in Asian cultures since I started studying Japanese so, when I had the opportunity to attend Festival Dell'Oriente in Rome at the end of April, I jumped without second thought.
I'm a big fan of Anime/Manga, I'm always on the lookout for series I think I am going to enjoy. The anime I am going to talk about today was really surprising because I don't like anything horror, but I'm glad I watched it because the story was really captivating.
ABOUT ME
